The Personal Concierge

Reunions, hosted with intention.

The traditions a family carries forward are not built at the kitchen table alone. Our Personal Concierge plans, books, and produces the gatherings where they are.

The Work We Take Off Your Plate

i

Property Selection

We match the family to the property: size, layout, region, and the kind of weekend you want to host. The five properties below are the ones we use most often.

ii

Booking & Logistics

Dates, deposits, contracts, room assignments, arrival and departure choreography, the keys-and-codes spreadsheet. You receive a single document; we do the rest.

iii

Programming

An agenda that works for two-year-olds and ninety-two-year-olds: organized activities, free hours, the right kind of optional. Concerts, hikes, lessons, lake days, museum visits.

iv

Catering & Provisioning

Private chefs for the named meals, fully provisioned kitchens for the unnamed ones, dietary requirements logged once and remembered every visit, and a small library of the family's recipes.

v

Transportation

Airport meets, vans from train stations, shuttles between the property and the activities, and the discreet driver waiting for the cousin who arrived late.

vi

The Record

A photographer present for the moments the family will want later. Letters and toasts collected. The weekend becomes a chapter in the Family Annual rather than a fading set of phone photos.

The Network

Five properties, two regions, one standard.

Private estates, lodges, and houses in the Catskills and the Berkshires. Each chosen for the way it accommodates four generations at once. Capacities run from six to forty-six.

Land

A turn-of-the-century sawmill on a babbling brook, converted into thirteen bedrooms and very nearly as many bathrooms. The setting is rural enough to be still, the entertainment room is a proper one with a custom bar, and the eight-hundred-square-foot pool has a stone waterfall. The Berkshires open up half an hour east: Tanglewood's summer season, Mass MoCA's warehouses, the Edith Wharton estate. Brook House is the network's most cultural property.

  • Year-round eight-person Jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit
  • Custom bar, pool table, sand volleyball court
  • On a brook; built on the foundations of an early-twentieth-century sawmill

Around the Property

Tanglewood

Thirty-five minutes. Summer home of the Boston Symphony. The lawn at Tanglewood at golden hour is one of the great American family memories.

Mass MoCA

Forty minutes. Cavernous post-industrial galleries that host the kind of contemporary art that survives the long ride home.

The Mount

Thirty minutes. Edith Wharton's historic home and gardens in Lenox, with a literary calendar most years.

Stockbridge & Lenox

Half an hour. The classic Berkshires towns: bookstores, inn dining rooms, and the Norman Rockwell Museum.
