Most firms form a view from analyst reports. We form ours from use. We run the software, buy the hardware, open the accounts, and tinker until we know where a product holds up and where it breaks down. The lab is a place to grow, learn, and better understand markets.
Overview
More than financiers. We’re builders.
We are a firm of people who tinker, create, and use the technologies behind the companies we choose to own. The Research Lab is where that work is organized, in writing, on a cadence the firm can keep.
Most allocators read about a sector. Some talk to operators. A smaller number actually use the tools, ship the products, and live inside the workflows of the companies they invest in. We are in that smaller group, on purpose.
In sectors where the technology is moving faster than the analyst notes describing it, listening to a sell-side write-up is not enough. We build internal prototypes. We run our own evaluations. We use the products we expect investors to fund. We evaluate tools by using them. That produces sharper judgment than reading about them.
The Research Lab houses three distinct efforts. SolomonAI™ Living Intelligence is the internal knowledge and synthesis framework that organizes what the firm learns over time. The Atelier™ is the workshop where we prototype, evaluate, and stress-test the tools and product categories we study. Research Institute is the public-facing publication where we file the long-form work that has earned a place on paper.
All three are internal disciplines. Their work informs how we think; they are not products, services, or signals offered or sold to third parties, and they are not used to manage capital under contract today.
SolomonAI™ Living Intelligence
Wisdom is cultivated. Not engineered.
Named after King Solomon, whose wisdom the Scriptures describe as a gift from God, the framework is built around a single conviction: durable judgment emerges from disciplined reflection, not from short-term impulse.
When Solomon was given the chance to ask for anything, he asked not for wealth or power, but for discernment, the ability to judge rightly, to understand complexity, and to lead with justice. That request, and the kind of wisdom it represents, is the foundation of this framework.
SolomonAI™ is an internally developed knowledge and synthesis framework designed to organize what the firm learns over time, preserve institutional memory, and maintain continuity of perspective. It serves as an internal reference layer, organizing information, preserving context, and grounding the firm’s reading of the world in accumulated understanding rather than short-term impulse.
At its core, the framework reflects a conviction that wisdom is not engineered or rushed. It is cultivated over time, informed by history, shaped by judgment, and guided by moral clarity. The system is an instrument of stewardship, not a shortcut, and is designed to be useful on a timescale of decades rather than days.

SolomonAI™ is used exclusively for internal orientation. It is not a product, a service, or an externally accessible system. It does not generate recommendations, signals, or outputs for third parties, and it is not used to manage capital under contract or to direct any current Delta Rock® investment strategy. The framework is in active development. Any future change in scope will be disclosed and, where required, reviewed by counsel.
The Atelier™
The workshop behind the conviction.
The Atelier™ is where the firm prototypes, evaluates, and stress-tests the tools, products, and workflows of the categories we study. It is the operator-side of the Research Lab, a master-craftsman’s workshop set apart from the main floor.
In the sectors that matter to us, AI infrastructure, robotics, autonomous systems, fintech rails, frontier compute, the speed of change has outpaced the speed at which traditional sell-side analysis can describe it. The companies that win in those sectors are companies whose technology has to be used to be understood. Reading about a model is not the same as evaluating it. Reading about an API is not the same as building on it. Reading about a robotic system is not the same as standing next to one.
The Atelier™ exists to close that gap. We build internal demos. We run our own evaluations against the tooling our portfolio thesis depends on. We integrate, benchmark, and break things in a controlled environment, and we keep careful notes about what we learn. The output of this work is not a product we sell; it is the depth of understanding we bring into investment discussion.
The Atelier™ is also where future tools live before they are tools. We treat early-stage internal prototypes as exactly that, early-stage, internal, and prototypes. Whether they ever leave the Atelier™ is a question of usefulness, durability, and discipline, and is settled over time, not over quarters.
